There is also a bird like mount named Kweh. I found it under the Sphinx.

In reply to cremlins. You have to unlock the ability Backstore on the bottom right of the skilltree. After that you can also unlock Chariot Owner in order to be able to purchase chariots.

When do legendary mounts become available for purchase? I am at level 22 and I can only buy rare mounts.
